For Accounts Payable (AP) 4.2 “Cost Invoices”, GPM foresees a 100 % blind recognition of invoices in the global SSC. Currently Real scans the invoices, performs a pre-recognition either in Alzey or in Pune and sends them to SSC Pune for completion. MCC Germany uses for 65% of all invoices the old process with support of METRO Group Processing (MGP). For the rest a scanning is performed. •

Furthermore, desktop procedures were not finalised and distributed when the transition started. Due to this Sales Lines had to develop own procedures in order to design a process flow on SSC Pune level (Level 6), which lead to different process steps between Real and MCC Germany, e.g. the following for the AP cost processes:

Internal controls activities as designed in GPM not implemented The GPM foresees several control steps to be performed on SSC Pune level. The preliminary control design was received on 8 May 2012 by “Finance & Accounting Processes Finance Process Development” department. However, the controls were not implemented during onsite fieldwork. The training of the employees on the activities to be performed did not include internal controls.

Allerdings waren die Kontrollen nicht während der Feldarbeit vor Ort umgesetzt. Die Schulung der Mitarbeiter über die Aktivitäten durchgeführt werden soll enthielt keine internen Kontrollen.

A thorough review of one time vendors by SSC Pune is not in place, however within the Sales Lines, there is still a mitigating control in place during the review of the payment proposal. It is questionable, whether Sales Lines will be able to perform this control in the future, as more processes will be transferred to the SSC Pune and headcount in the Sales Lines will be reduced further

Eine gründliche Überprüfung der einmal Anbietern von SSC Pune ist noch nicht vorhanden, jedoch innerhalb der Vertriebslinien, gibt es noch eine mildernde Kontrolle an Ort und Stelle bei der Überprüfung der Zahlung Vorschlag. Es ist fraglich, ob der Umsatz-Linien in der Lage sein, diese Kontrolle in der Zukunft durchzuführen, da immer mehr Prozesse werden dem SSC Pune und Personalbestand in den Vertriebslinien übertragen wird weiter reduziert werden

He drove the Emulsion business and started new accounts for core emulsions, resulting in an increase in business. He worked for McCoy Silicones, Dehli before moving to GE Bayer Silcones in June 2005.
