For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?

Denn ich habe gesehen deine Ehebrecherei, dein Geilheit, deine freche Hurerei, ja, deine Greuel auf Hügeln und auf Äckern. Weh dir, Jerusalem! Wann wirst du doch endlich rein werden?

27 I have seen your abominations, even your adulteries, and your neighing, the lewdness of your prostitution, on the hills in the field.

27 deine Ehebrüche, dein Wiehern und deine schändliche Hurerei; denn ich habe auf den Hügeln im Felde deine Greuel gesehen.

Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

Ich aber gedachte: Sie ist der Ehebrecherei gewohnt von alters her; sie kann von der Hurerei nicht lassen.
