The Bromley-by-Bow area has a serious deficit of open space, with less than 0.4 hectares of public open space per 1000 residents making it one of the most deprived of public space in the Borough. There is only limited public open spaces within the core study area and just outside the core study area boundary are two small local parks with some facilities; these are Bob’s Park at the Bromley-by-Bow centre and the Devons Road Recreation Ground. These are well used but provide limited amenity value due to their size and layout. St Leonard’s Adventure space is a further green space, but is very underused being extremely overgrown, not overlooked and subject to heavy traffic noise from the adjacent A12.

The Bromley-by-Bow-Bereich hat ein ernstes Defizit von offenen Raum, mit weniger als 0,4 Hektar öffentlichen Raum je 1000 Einwohner und ist damit einer der am meisten von den öffentlichen Raum in der Borough beraubt.
