In this work, aromatic compounds of different organic classes (phenylalanine, diphenylamine and benzoic acid) were investigated as possible propellant stabilizers which cannot form a N-nitroso compound as a degradation product. Furthermore Akardit II was chosen as the standard for comparison. After the powder formulation with 1% and 3% stabilizer addition, the thermal behavior of these flake powders was studied and the artificial aging by thermal storage for 18 days at 89 ° C was performed, followed by a quantitavie HPLC analysis of the stabilizer content.
