MT BOGONG VIA STAIRCASE SPUR TRAIL Alpine National Park The trail to the summit of Mt Bogong (1,986 metres) begins at the Mountain Creek picnic area and follows a vehicle track to the foot of the aptly named Staircase Spur, where the ascent begins through a forest of peppermint gums. Bivouac Hut, about halfway along the climb, offers a welcome resting place before the track passes through snow gums and alpine scrub and out on to the summit plain. If walking to the summit of the state's tallest mountain sounds a little too demanding, try one of the easier walks that also begin at the picnic area. MT Bogong über eine Treppe SPUR TRAIL Alpine National Park Der Weg auf den Gipfel des Mt. Bogong (1.986 Meter) beginnt an der Mountain Creek Picknickplatz und folgt einem Fahrzeug Spur bis an den Fuß der treffend benannte Treppe Spur, wo der Aufstieg beginnt durch einen Wald Pfefferminze Zahnfleisch. Bivouac Hut, etwa auf halbem Weg entlang der Aufstieg, bietet eine willkommene Ruhestätte, bevor die Strecke geht durch den Schnee Zahnfleisch und alpine Gestrüpp und auf den Gipfel Ebene. Wenn zu Fuß auf den Gipfel des staatlichen höchste Berg klingt ein wenig zu anspruchsvoll, versuchen Sie eine der leichteren Wanderungen, die auch auf dem Picknickplatz beginnen.
