It is situated on the border between the Trentino and Veneto regions, along the road that crosses the Paneveggio national park linking the Fiemme Valley to Falcade in the province of Belluno. The refuge is in the Tre Valli ski resort, along the slopes that lead from Col Margherita to Falcade, and lies at the foot of Mount Mulaz and the Bocche chain - fantastic places for lovers of alpine skiing and cross country skiing. Recommended itineraries: the refuge is situated along the Alta via delle Dolomiti n. 2 route, ith the possibility of bivouacking for excursionists.

Die Berghütte liegt in dem Drei-Täler-Skigebiet, an der Skipiste, die von der Col Margherita bis zu der Falcade entlang führt, aber auch am Fuß der di Bocche und der Mulaz Bergkette; das sind fantastische Orte für die Liebhaber des Skies, Bergsteiger, und Wanderer mit Schneeschuhen. Empfohlene Routen: Die Berghütte liegt auf der Strecke von der Alta Dolomiti Straße Nr. 2 mit der Möglichkeit für Wanderer zu biwakieren.
