Test the lead wires using the 1) Lead wire Performance Test and 2) a 12L patient simulator to identify any shorted lead wires. Replace any lead wires that fail testing. Instructions for performing the Lead wire Performance Test are included in the Procedure section of this FCO, as well as in the TC Cardiograph Instructions for Use document included on the TC User Documentation DVD shipped with the cardiographs. A newly redesigned, more durable limb lead wire has recently been released. The new limb lead wire will be included in all TC70/50/30 cardiograph and TC replacement lead set shipments starting 15 July 2012. The precordial (chest) lead wires have not changed, nor have the replacement lead set part numbers. The new design limb lead wires are identified with date code “XD” or later molded in the location shown in Figure 1 below.

Das neue Design des Körpers Leitungsdrähte sind mit Datum Code "XD" identifiziert oder später in den in Abbildung 1 gezeigt geformt.

Set the simulator to the 2Hz square wave setting and the amplitude to 1mV. 2 Ensure that the Simulated Waveform feature (cardiograph displays simulated patient ECG waveforms) is not enabled on the cardiograph. 3 Touch the Exam button on the Status Bar, and then touch the Resting 12-Lead button. 4 Touch the factory default Standard 12-lead Exam Profile button. 5 Touch the Settings button on the Status Bar. a Set the Artifact filter to OFF. b Set the Limb Leads setting to 10 mm/mV. c Set the Speed setting to 25 mm/sec. d Touch OK. 6 Touch the ECG button on the toolbar. If a message appears that no patient information has been entered, touch the Continue button. Depending on how the cardiograph is configured, the ECG may automatically print. If not, touch the Print button.

Setzen Sie das Artefakt Filter auf OFF. b Legen Sie die Extremitätenableitungen Einstellung 10 mm / mV. c Stellen Sie die Speed-Einstellung auf 25 mm / sec. d Tippen Sie auf OK. 6 Berühren Sie die EKG-Symbolleiste auf die Schaltfläche. Wenn eine Meldung erscheint, dass keine Patientendaten eingegeben wurde, berühren Sie die Schaltfläche Weiter. Je nachdem wie die cardiograph konfiguriert ist, kann das EKG automatisch gedruckt. Wenn nicht, drücken Sie die Schaltfläche Drucken.
