* Hetman Miko?aj Firlej, zwischen Krzysztof Szyd?owiecki und Andrzej T?czy?ski, Kastellan von Krakau, trägt ebenfalls eine besorgte Miene zur Schau.

The earliest history of the castle is connected with the establishment in Lublin in the 12th c. of a seat of a castellan. During Casimir the Just’s reign there was raised a stronghold on the mound fortified with bulwark made of wood and earth. A donjon, a residential and defensive tower, was built in the early 13th c. on the site’s upper section. It is a valuable Romanesque architectural monument preserved till the present day. The tower confirmed the medieval choice of location as well as initiated further construction of stone and brickwork buildings on the site.

Die früheste Geschichte des Schlosses ist verbunden mit der Einrichtung in Lublin in der 12. c. eines Platzes ein Kastellan. Während Casimir ausgelöst der gerechten Herrschaft gab es eine Festung auf dem Hügel mit Bollwerk und Erde befestigt. Ein Bergfried, ein Wohn- und defensive Turm entstand im frühen 13. c. am oberen Bereich der Website. Es ist eine wertvolle romanische Baudenkmal bis zum heutigen Tag beibehalten. Der Turm die mittelalterliche Standortwahl bestätigt sowie veranlasste weitere Bau von Stein und Mauerwerk Gebäude auf dem Gelände.
