We recommend that Management: 1 Ensures that the accounting system is restricted to the accounting team or to people who need accounting access while ensuring proper segregation of duties and limited access to certain modules; 2 Ensures that the administration of password is reviewed, providing adequate protection, confidentiality and regular systemised update; 3 Introduces a procedure providing proper review of the opening and closing of accounts and communicate the procedure to the outsourced accounting function; and 4 Implements proper formalised validation of higher risk accounting entries, providing the 4 eye principle. This procedure should be formalised in written and communicated to the accounting team; and 4 reviews whether the system could provide adequate traceability.

For special recovery procedures (car dealer financing and other claims) internal accounts are created and at the end closed within the core banking system AS 400. Creation and closing of these accounts is controlled via segregation of duties, i.e. the tasks of applying for and creating/closing of internal accounts are segregated. WOD / RM Private Clients apply for creation of accounts and CBU Legal Collection applies for closing of accounts. Execution of all these applications is performed by RM Commercial (team Kontokorrent).

WOD / RM Private Clients gelten für die Erstellung von Konten und CBU Legal Sammlung gilt für das Schließen von Konten. Ausführung von all diesen Anwendungen wird durch RM Commercial (Team Kontokorrent) durchgeführt.
