Prague deserved more than one cache when I was there in 2002 – unfortunately it would not have been sensible to place a traditional piece of Tupperware in the centre of a city, so here is a virtual one. (There were none near when this was set!) It could hardly be more central and a lovely spot on a summer day to spend a lazy hour over a plate of pasta and a glass (or two) of Pilsner or Budvar. Don’t forget to go to the other corner of the square on the hour! It would be too easy to ask who is commemorated in the statue here but around are more recent memorials to heroes. I ask anyone who wishes to log this cache to identify the two names which appear with that of Josef Vrba on two small plaques with only the three names and e-mail the answer to jstead123ATgmail.com ("AT" = "@"). BUT it is NOT the plaque with the name of Bedrich Kula - see the photo for the right one.

Vergessen Sie nicht, auf die andere Ecke des Platzes auf der Stunde gehen! Es wäre zu einfach, zu fragen, wer ist in der Statue hier gedacht, aber in der Nähe sind neueren Denkmäler für Helden. Ich bitte jeden, der diesen Cache zu loggen, um die beiden Namen, die mit der von Josef Vrba erscheinen auf zwei kleine Plaketten mit nur den drei Namen und E-Mail die Antwort auf jstead123ATgmail.com identifizieren möchte ("AT" = "@"). Aber es ist nicht die Plakette mit dem Namen von Bedrich Kula - siehe das Foto für die richtige.

The Assyrian Universal Alliance Australian Chapter (AUA) together with the Australian Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies (AIHGS) welcomed guest speakers and historical researchers on ethnic minorities, Dr. Racho Donef and Stavros Stavridis. Hosted by MP Andrew Rohan, the event held speeches from local politicians MP Craig Kelly, MLC Honourable David Clarke and Rev the MLC Honourable Fred Nile. Dr. Racho Donef said the Assyrian genocide is surrounded by a century of struggle and denialism. “The Turkish state convinced itself more or less that denialism is the only path to follow,” he said.
