Diese Empfehlungen waren in erster Linie in Übereinstimmung mit früheren EBCPGs, obwohl einige wurden nicht durch andere EBCPGs abgedeckt. Es gab breite Übereinstimmung mit diesen Empfehlungen aus der Praxis (größer als 85%). Seit mehreren Interventionen und Indikationen (zB, Thermotherapie, therapeutischen Ultraschall, Massagen, Elektrostimulation), gab es einen Mangel an Beweisen in Bezug auf Wirksamkeit.
