In Giovanni Boter's cosmography entitled "Le relationi universali divise in quatro parti" we can find a description of the region, including names of Wroc³aw and other three Silesia towns: Lignicia, Glogovia and Lubena. In 1613 18-year old Prince George Rudolf became the ruler of the principality and the "Lord of Lubin".

In der “Kosmographie” von Giovanni Botera mit dem Titel: “Le relationi universali divise in quatro parti” findet man die Beschreibung der Region, in der außer Wroclaw (Breslau) als Hauptstadt, drei schlesische Städte erwähnt wurden. Es waren: Lignicia, Glogovia und Lubena. Im Jahre 1613 wurde der damals achtzehnjahrige Fürst Georg Rudolf der Herrscher des Fürstentums und “der Herr über Lubin”. Er erwies sich als einer der besten wirtschaftlichen Verwalter, die der Piasten - Herrscherfamilie entstammten.
