Multiple shoot induction Different explants such as cotyledon, hypocotyls and cotyledonary nodal region explants were cultured on MS medium supplemented with different levels of BAP (2.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0, 12.0 mg/L), TDZ (0.1, 0.5, 0.1 mg/L) to obtain multiple shoots. The number of explants producing shoots per treatment were recorded after 30 days of inoculation. The experiment was repeated thrice.
