Da die Anzahl der Zähne auf dem Flexnutenring zwei weniger ist als die auf der Circular Spline, wird eine volle Umdrehung des Wellengenerators bewirken, dass die Abrollbuchse um einen Winkel entsprechend zwei Zähnen des flxspline entgegenzuwirken drehen, und damit ergibt sich eine große Reduktionsverhältnis des Antriebs.
