In 2010 he coordinated the ESA Earth Explorer Opportunity Mission proposal TES-GAP (Temperature and Emissivity Signatures for Geosphere and Pedosphere) as prime investigator. TES-GAP proposed a spaceborne thermal imaging spectrometer mission to measure soil and rock mineral composition and volcanic gas emissions in support of the management of arable land and volcanic eruption early warning.

In 2010 ist er koordiniert die ESA Earth Explorer Chance Mission Vorschlag TES-GAP (Temperatur und Emissionsgrad Unterschriften Geosphäre und Pedosphäre) als Hauptauftragnehmer Ermittler. TES-GAP schlug eine satellitengestützte Thermografie-Spektrometer Mission Boden und Fels mineralische Zusammensetzung und vulkanische Emissionen zur Unterstützung des Managements von Ackerland und Vulkanausbruch Frühwarnung messen.
