Mrs. Steimer was in our care because she had a mastoiditis epidural abscess on the left side at the year 2008. She received Mastoidectomie and an antibiotica therapy. Since then she ist suf-fering from a sensorineural hearing loss on the left side (hearing loss left around 70-75 dB)

We found 49 systematic reviews, RCTs, or observational studies that met our inclusion criteria. We performed a GRADE evaluation of the quality of evidence for interventions. CONCLUSIONS: In this systematic review we present information relating to the effectiveness and safety of the following interventions: acupuncture, advice to stay active, analgesics (paracetamol, opioids), back exercises, back schools, bed rest, behavioural therapy, electromyographic biofeedback, epidural corticosteroid injections, lumbar supports, massage, multidisciplinary treatment programmes, muscle relaxants, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), spinal manipulation, temperature treatments (short-wave diathermy, ultrasound, ice, heat), traction, and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS).

Wir fanden 49 systematische Übersichtsarbeiten, randomisierte kontrollierte Studien oder Beobachtungsstudien, die unsere Einschlusskriterien erfüllten. Wir führten eine GRADE Bewertung der Qualität der Evidenz für Interventionen. Schlussfolgerung: In dieser systematischen Übersicht präsentieren wir Ihnen Informationen über die Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit der folgenden Interventionen: Akupunktur, Beratung, aktiv zu bleiben, Schmerzmittel (Paracetamol, Opioide), Rückenschule, Schulen zurück, Bettruhe, Verhaltenstherapie, Biofeedback elektromyographische, epidurale Kortikosteroid-Injektionen, Lordosenstütze, Massage, multidisziplinäre Behandlungsprogramme, Muskelrelaxantien, nicht-steroidale entzündungshemmende Medikamente (NSAIDs), Manipulation der Wirbelsäule, Temperatur-Behandlungen (Kurzwellen-Diathermie, Ultraschall, Eis, Hitze), Traktion und transkutane elektrische Nervenstimulation (TENS).
