I am a doctoral student in the United States and am currently looking for information on objects collected in Liberia in the early to mid-nineteenth century. I am particularly interested in ethnographic or natural history objects that may still be in museum collections in the U.S. and Europe. Do you know if any objects from nineteenth-century Liberia exist in the Ethnological Museum, or if the central archive contains any relevant information on such objects that may have once existed in the museum? If so, I would be interested in finding out more about these objects, and possibly scheduling a research visit. Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated
