Mit etwa 1.000 Mitgliedern in den Abteilungen Leichtathletik, Fußball, Speedskating, Tischtennis, Faustball, Aerobic, Behindertensport und Gymnastik gehört er zu den größten Vereinen der Stadt Halle.
