The roots of the guitar can be traced back until the middle ages, when the direct precedessor was called Vihuela. Slightly double taut double string choruses (out of gut) create a sound resembling more the Lute than the modern guitar. The origins of the instruments are in the Orient, where the so-called Saz is played as a folk instrument until today e.g. in Turkey. The name of the Lute is derived from the arab 'al'ud' which stresses the arab origin.

Die Wurzeln der Gitarre kann zurück bis ins Mittelalter zurückverfolgt werden, als die direkte precedessor genannt wurde Vihuela. Leicht doppelt gespannt Doppel-String Chöre (von Darm) erzeugen ein Klangbild ähnelt mehr der Laute als die moderne Gitarre. Die Ursprünge der Instrumente sind in den Orient, wo die sogenannten Saz als Folk-Instrument bis heute z. B. in der Türkei gespielt wird. Der Name der Laute aus dem arabischen "al'ud", die die arabische Herkunft betont abgeleitet.

are invited to take part in the festival representative folk groups with a rich musical and choreographic repertory; - a performance can last 10, 20 and 30 minutes; - in a group there will be dancers, instrumentalists ( who will play „live”) , a choreographer, a group leader, drivers etc., but not more than 35 persons; - facilities offered by the organizers: accommodation, meals, medical assistance; - setting up artistic partnership relations with the Folk Ensemble „Lugojana”;

sind eingeladen, am Festival Vertreter Folklore-Gruppen mit einer reichen musikalischen und choreographischen Repertoire zu nehmen, - eine Leistung können 10, 20 und 30 Minuten dauern; - in einer Gruppe gibt es Tänzer, Instrumentalisten (wer spielen wird "live") sein, ein Choreograph, ein Gruppenleiter, Treiber etc., aber nicht mehr als 35 Personen, - Einrichtungen von den Veranstaltern angeboten: Unterkunft, Verpflegung, medizinische Betreuung, - die Einrichtung künstlerische Partnerschaft Beziehungen mit der Folk Ensemble "Lugojana";

Festival programme: - open-air folk performances; - folk costumes parades, workshops; - symposiums; - meeting the Mayor of Lugoj; - offering souvenirs; - taking part to the folk holiday of the town „Ruga Lugojanã” (15 August).
