I had grudgingly agreed to the 'ballet flats' because there was no heel, yes, you heard correctly - Angela threatened me with heels. And the bag hadn't taken much convincing, not after she demonstrated how many books I could fit in it. I was sold. I drew the line at jewellery though, knowing full well I would inadvertently find some way of choking myself with it. The worst part of our trip came when she had dragged me into an underwear store. I had blushed like a sinner in church. It was awful. But according to Ang, women actually wore this stuff. I couldn't fathom why. Most of it was see-through and went up your butt. Not exactly airing on the side of comfort, in my opinion. I had come out an hour later, scarred for life, with three new matching bra and panty sets and a new pair of silky pyjamas.

Ich hatte die 'Ballett Wohnungen' widerwillig zugestimmt weil es keine Ferse, ja gab, Sie haben richtig gehört - Angela mich mit Heels bedroht. Und die Tasche hatte nicht viel davon zu überzeugen, nicht nachdem sie gezeigt, wie viele Bücher ich in ihm passen könnte. Ich wurde verkauft. Ich zog die Linie bei Schmuck, wohlwissend, dass ich versehentlich einen Weg Würgen mich mit ihm finden würde.
 
 Der schlimmste Teil unserer Reise kam, als sie mich in ein Unterwäsche-Shop gezogen hatte. Ich hatte wie ein Sünder in der Kirche errötete. Es war furchtbar. Aber laut Ang, Frauen tatsächlich trug dieses Zeug. Ich konnte nicht begreifen, warum. Das meiste davon war durchsichtig und gingen Ihren Po. Lüften nicht gerade auf der Seite Komfort, meiner Meinung nach. Ich hatte eine Stunde später, für das Leben, mit drei neuen passenden BH und Höschen Sets und ein paar neue seidige Pyjama Vernarbter kommen.
