Nice and easy multi-cache, that leads you along all the things that are worthwhile in this little hamlet. No problems with the head or the other waypoints. The stast was easily found and not only by us, but also by hunderths of ants. :°)

Schön und einfach Multi-Cache, das führt Sie entlang all den Dingen, die sich lohnt in diesem kleinen Weiler sind. Keine Probleme mit dem Kopf oder den anderen Wegpunkten. Die stast war schnell gefunden und nicht nur von uns, sondern auch durch hunderths von Ameisen. : °)

This beautiful bay with it’s half moon pebble beach lies at the very western end of the Kaya Valley. Head west out of Kay Koy along the windy road through the fields, passing through the village of Kinali (where the Sakli Vadi cottages are located), you will see the forest tree line in the distance. As you enter the trees the road meanders steeply down the cliffs for about three kilometres onto the shoreline. The beach has small bars and restaurants that will rent you sun beds. It’s worth getting one of the local boats to ferry you over to the island (Aya Nikola). On the island stand the remains of several civilisations. There are naturally Lycian rock tombs, but also a Byzantine Monastery and a later ruined hamlet complete with a nineteenth century church.

Diese wunderschöne Bucht mit seiner Half Moon Kieselstrand liegt ganz am westlichen Ende des Kaya Valley. Fahren Sie westlich von Kay Koy entlang der kurvigen Straße durch die Felder, die durch das Dorf Kinali (wo die Sakli Vadi Hütten befinden), werden Sie sehen den Wald Baumgrenze in der Ferne. Wie Sie die Bäume geben der Straße schlängelt sich steil die Klippen hinunter zum etwa drei Kilometer auf der Küstenlinie. Der Strand hat kleine Bars und Restaurants, die Sie mieten Sonnenliegen. Es lohnt sich, einen der lokalen Boote um Sie über Fähre auf die Insel (Aya Nikola). Auf der Insel stehen die Überreste von mehreren Zivilisationen. Es gibt natürlich lykischen Felsengräber, sondern auch eine byzantinische Kloster und eine spätere ruiniert Weiler komplett mit einem neunzehnten Jahrhundert Kirche.
