The professional National Stud training school was created in the 19th Century for the purpose of training officers of the National Stud. It has since developed into the National Stud institution’s training centre, proposing various courses to students and professionals alike, each one leading to a recognised qualification, notably in the area of breeding techniques (e.g. artificial insemination, ultrasound, transfer of embryos, etc.) or in that of rearing horses (e.g. foaling, feed and rations, pasture management), not forgetting the equestrian techniques (driving, starting and training young horses. etc.) and the traditional trades of the equine sector (harness-maker, farrier, amongst others).

Die im 19. Jahrhundert gegründete nationale Fachschule war berühmt für ihre Ausbildung von Fachleuten für Nationalgestüte. Heute ist aus ihr das Ausbildungszentrum für die Nationalgestüte geworden und bietet einer breit gefächerten Klientel professionelle Kurse an, vor allem in der modernen Reproduktionstechnik (z.B. künstliche Besamung, Ultraschall, Embryonentransfer) und in der Aufzucht (z.B. Züchtung, Fütterung, Weidenmanagement), aber auch auf dem Gebiet der Reittechnik (Gespann-Fahren, Training der Pferde) und der traditionellen Handwerksberufe rund ums Pferd (Sattlerei, Hufschmiede).
