K 7.1. ‘Price elasticity of demand’ refers to any change in the quantity demand of a product in relation to a change in price. A one-percent change in price is used (assuming all other characteristics of and around the given product remain the same) to determine what percentage of change occurs in the quantity of the product demanded. Inelasticity refers to the relatively small amount of change in demand for a product relative to its price. An elastic product is one which sees great changes in demand when the price for the product changes.

K 7,1. "Preiselastizität der Nachfrage" bezieht sich auf jede Änderung in der Menge Nachfrage nach einem Produkt in Bezug auf eine Änderung des Preises.
