Huge dark clouds gather the sky in the evening… it was raining cats and dogs and so I look out for an accommodation. “All rooms are occupied” was always the same answer from the innkeeper. Therefore I continued to cycle in my complete rainwear, miles for miles and village for village. But the major goal, the mountains, are already in sight. At 9 o’clock pm and 30 miles later I found a guesthouse in Sindelsdorf. The friendly innkeeper opens the kitchen especially for me again and she serves me a delicious meal: pork loin with roast potatoes.

Riesige dunkle Wolken den Himmel versammeln sich am Abend ... es regnete Katzen und Hunde und so habe ich Ausschau nach einer Unterkunft. "Alle Zimmer belegt sind", war immer die gleiche Antwort vom Wirt. Deshalb habe ich weiter in meinem Zyklus komplette Regenkleidung, Meilen für Meilen und Dorf für Dorf. Aber das große Ziel, die Berge, sind bereits in Sicht. Am 21.00 Uhr und 30 Meilen später fand ich ein Gästehaus in Sindelsdorf. Der freundliche Wirt öffnet die Küche vor allem für mich wieder, und sie dient mir ein leckeres Essen: Schweinerücken mit Bratkartoffeln.
