loftiness

There is a loftiness that does not come from fortune.

Es gibt eine Erhabenheit, die kommt nicht von Fortune.

You defied stars in their loftiness,

Sie trotzte Sterne in ihrer Erhabenheit,

And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

daß sich bücken muß alle Höhe der Menschen und sich demütigen müssen, die hohe Männer sind, und der HERR allein hoch sei zu der Zeit.
