The minimum system configuration of the NTG5.5 consists of a Headunit (computing device with integrated radio, audio, video, navigation, telematic and multimedia functions, as well as an integrated standard audio amplifier), a separate monitor with a color TFT display in a central position on the dashboard, a Central Control Element (CTRL_C), a Touchpad, an audio loudspeaker system, different antennas for radio, WLAN, Bluetooth and GPS, as well as an array of microphones. The Headunit transmits video signals via an high speed video link (HSVL) to the Instrument Cluster in order to support a picture-in-picture display. A Wireless LAN (WLAN) interface on the Headunit is used to connect remote controls based on consumer Smartphone, tablets, or other WLAN devices to the Headunit. A customer's mobile phone can be connected to the Headunit via Bluetooth.

Die minimale Systemkonfiguration des NTG5.5 besteht aus einer Headunit (EDV-Gerät mit integriertem Radio, Audio-, Video-, Navigations-, Telematik-und Multimedia-Funktionen sowie eine integrierte Standard-Audio-Verstärker), einem separaten Monitor mit TFT-Display in eine zentrale Position auf dem Armaturenbrett, ein zentrales Bedienelement (CTRL_C), ein Touchpad, ein Audio-Lautsprecher-System, verschiedene Antennen für Radio, WLAN, Bluetooth und GPS, sowie eine Anordnung von Mikrofonen. Die Headunit überträgt Videosignale über ein High-Speed-Video-Link (HSVl) mit dem Instrument Cluster, um eine Bild-in-Bild-Darstellung unterstützt. Ein Wireless-LAN (WLAN)-Schnittstelle auf der Headunit wird verwendet, um Fernbedienungen auf Verbraucher Smartphone, Tabletten oder anderen WLAN-Geräten der Headunit Basis zu verbinden. Eines Kunden Handy kann der Headunit via Bluetooth angeschlossen werden.
