The Street Academy is a part of the framework of the Wiener Festwochen, a cultural festival that takes place in Austria von May to June every year. The Wiener Festwochen initiated the Programm "Into the City" five Jahre ago und the Street Academy is embedded in this initiative. "Into the City" wants to connect Vienna to its inhabitants by making the Stadt more tangible for those who live there. Thus, the Street Academy takes place in fun sports halls, parks, shopping malls, youths centres und partner institutions like Dschungel Wien, Brunnenpassage und the Stadt library und is targeted at youths von 16 Jahre onwards who want to acquire "cool skills" like poetry, DJing oder dance skills. The workshops are for free und the entire offer is designed to be on low-threshold.

Die Street Academy ist ein Teil der im Rahmen der Wiener Festwochen, ein kulturelles Festival, das in Österreich von Mai bis Juni jeden Jahres. Die Wiener Festwochen initiierte das Programm "Into the City" fünf Jahre alt und der Street Academy wird an dieser Initiative eingebettet. "Into the City" will nach Wien, um ihre Bewohner verbinden, indem sie die Stadt greifbarer für diejenigen, die dort leben. Somit nimmt die Street Academy im Spaß Sporthallen, Parks, Einkaufszentren, Jugendliche Zentren und Partnerinstitutionen wie Dschungel Wien, Brunnenpassage und die Stadt-Bibliothek und wird an Jugendliche von 16 Jahre ab, die zum Erwerb "coole Skills" wollen gezielt wie Poesie , DJing Oder tänzerisches Können. Die Workshops sind kostenlos und das gesamte Angebot ist für den niedrigschwelligen sein.
