A high dielectric constant ceramic composition for a ceramic capacitor, represented by the general formula: xPb(Zn 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O? - yPb(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O? - zPbTiO?, wherein x, y and z have the values defined within lines connecting the following points, a, b, c, and d of a ternary composition diagram of said compound having apexes of respective components, and wherein from 1 to 35 mole % of said Pb is substituted by an alkali earth element selected from the group consisting of barium, strontium and combinations thereof: a: (x = 0.50, y = 0.00, z = 0.50) b: (x = 1.00, y = 0.00, z = 0.00) c: (x = 0.45, y = 0.55, z = 0.00) d: (x = 0.15, y = 0.70, z = 0.15) and z is 0.05 or more , y is 0.01 or more . The high dielectric constant ceramic composition according to Claim 1 which further comprises at least one of manganese oxide and cobalt oxide which is additionally included therein in an amount of up to 0.5% by weight.

Keramische Zusammensetzung mit hoher Dielektrizitätskonstante für Keramikkondensatoren, dargestellt durch die allgemeine Formel xPb(Zn 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O? - yPb(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O? - zPbTiO?, bei der x, y und z die Werte annehmen, die innerhalb der Verbindungslinien der folgenden Punkte a, b, c und d eines Diagramms der Dreistoffzusammensetzung dieser Verbindung mit Apizes entsprechender Komponenten liegen, und bei der 1 bis 35 Mol-% des Pb durch ein aus der Gruppe Barium, Strontium und deren Zusammensetzungen ausgewähltes Erdalkalielement ersetzt ist, mit a: (x = 0,50, y = 0,00, z = 0,50) b: (x = 1,00, y = 0,00, z = 0,00) c: (x = 0,45, y = 0,55, z = 0,00) d: (x = 0,15, y = 0,70, z = 0,15) und mit z gleich oder größer 0,05, y gleich oder größer 0,01. Keramische Zusammensetzung mit hoher Dielektrizitätskonstante nach Anspruch 1, die ferner mindestens einen der Stoffe Manganoxid oder Kobaltoxid aufweist, der zusätzlich in einer Menge von bis zu 0,5 Gewicht-% in der Zusammensetzung enthalten ist.
