The long term development of new compositions for thermoelectric materials has been started. Our first experiments were focused on new n-type materials. For new p-type materials we have with the layered cobaltates of Moser et al potentially interesting candidates.[10] From a methodic perspective we have with the peroxo-precursors a synthetic route in our hands to easily synthesize new transition metal substituents. During the following months beside the tungsten substitutes calcium manganate materials series of niobium, molybdenum and tantalum substituted materials will be synthesized. All these samples will be characterized regarding their thermoelectric properties. From these results we are optimistic broadening the understanding of the impact of B-site substitution in perovskites lattices and find interesting candidates for thermoelectric materials.

Die langfristige Entwicklung von neuen Kompositionen für thermoelektrische Materialien gestartet wurde. Unsere ersten Versuche wurden an neue n-Typ-Materialien konzentriert. Für neue p-Typ-Materialien, die wir mit den geschichteten Kobaltate von Moser et al potentiell interessante Kandidaten. [10] Von einer methodischen Sicht haben wir mit den Peroxo-Vorstufen einen Syntheseweg in unseren Händen leicht synthetisieren neue Übergangsmetall Substituenten. In den folgenden Monaten neben dem Wolfram-Ersatzstoffe Kalzium Manganat Materialien Reihe von Niob, Molybdän und Tantal substituierten Materialien synthetisiert werden. Alle diese Proben werden gekennzeichnet über ihre thermoelektrischen Eigenschaften werden. Aus diesen Ergebnissen sind wir optimistisch Erweiterung des Verständnisses der Auswirkungen der B-Seite Substitution in Perowskite Gittern und finden Sie interessante Kandidaten für thermoelektrische Materialien.
