Microsection The following table 1 contains the findings from the microsection, noting normal behaviour with regard to wetting, but conspicuous behaviour with regard to the metallurgical bond, i.e. the intermetallic phase layer between solder and the nickel diffusion barrier appears to be rather thick and rough, not smooth as expected from Sn-Ni layers.

Mikroschliff In der folgenden Tabelle 1 enthält die Erkenntnisse aus der Mikroschliff, Feststellung normal Verhalten hinsichtlich Benetzung, aber auffällige Verhalten in Bezug auf die metallurgische Bindung, d.h. die intermetallische Phase-Ebene zwischen Löten und die Nickel-Diffusionssperre scheint ziemlich dick und rauh, nicht glatt, wie erwartet von Sn-Ni Schichten.
