The unit seeks to understand how global change affects the multiple interactions of vegetation, soil, and the terrestrial carbon cycle. These processes are investigated with several complementary biogeochemical and vegetational methods, including stable isotope analysis, molecular markers, (in)organic geochemical analysis, clay mineralogy, soil and vegetation survey (GIS), and (geo)statistical interpretation.

Das Gerät versucht zu verstehen, wie die globale Wandel die vielfältigen Wechselwirkungen von Vegetation, Boden und der terrestrischen Kohlenstoffkreislauf auswirkt. This paper presents a comprehensive study of the mineralogy, bromine geochemistry, sulfate isotope, and brine-inclusion compositions of halite and anhydrite from the Zdrada IG6. The Gorzów Wielkopolski IG1 borehole (N52o41′21.00″–E15o14′15.00″) was recovered from western Poland, near the German border, and contains saline deposits from the top of the PZ1 as well as the PZ2, PZ3, and PZ4 cycles.

Dieser Beitrag stellt eine umfassende Studie über die Mineralogie, Geochemie Brom-, Sulfat-Isotop, und Sole-inclusion Kompositionen von Halit und Anhydrit aus dem Zdrada IG6. Die Gorzów Wielkopolski IG1 Bohrung (N52o41'21 .00 "-E15o14'15 .00") wurde aus Westpolen erholt, nahe der deutschen Grenze, und enthält Salzablagerungen von der Spitze des PZ1 sowie die PZ2, PZ3 und PZ4 Zyklen.
