Substantially light-insensitive black and white monosheet thermographic recording material according to claim 1, wherein said reducing agent is selected from the group of compounds consisting of: aryl(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)sulfinates, alkyl(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)sulfinates, 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-alkylsulfones, 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl-arylsulfones, aryl(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)sulfonates, alkyl(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)sulfonates and 3,4-dihydroxybenzonitrile compounds.

Ein wesentlich lichtunempfindliches thermografisches schwarzweißes Einzelbogen-Aufzeichnungsmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Reduktionsmittel aus der Gruppe von Verbindungen bestehend aus Aryl-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-sulfinaten, Alkyl-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl) -sulfinaten, 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylalkylsulfonen, 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylarylsulfonen, Aryl-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-sulfonaten, Alkyl-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-sulfonaten und 3,4-Dihydroxybenzonitrilverbindungen gewählt wird.
