A pharmaceutical comprising: a mucolytically active thiol selected from any one or more of N-acetylcysteine; mercaptoethanesulphonic acid; tiopronin; and methylcysteine; and an antibiotic selected from any one or more of Erythromycin; Roxithromycin; Clarithromycin; Azithromycin; Dirithromycin; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts or esters thereof, wherein the mucolytic is present in an amount of greater than one molar and less than four molar equivalent of the antibiotic.

Pharmazeutikum umfassend: ein mukolytisch aktives Thiol, ausgewählt aus jedwedem einen oder mehreren von N-Acetylcystein; Mercaptoethansulfonsäure; Tiopronin; und Methylcystein; und ein Antibiotikum, ausgewählt aus jedwedem einen oder mehreren von Erythromycin; Roxithromycin; Clarithromycin; Azithromycin; Dirithromycin, und pharmazeutisch verträglichen Salzen oder Estern davon, worin das Mukolytikum in einer Menge von größer als einem Moläquivalent und weniger als vier Moläquivalenten des Antibiotikums vorliegt.
