overexposing

I also have the same problem and I took it to the canon service center. They told me that I have to replace the whole lens kit the problem was with the shutter not closing properly thus overexposing the pictures

Ich habe auch das gleiche Problem und ich nahm es an den Canon Kundendienst. Sie sagten mir, dass ich die ganze Objektiv-Kit das Problem mit der Verschluss nicht richtig schließen damit eine Überbelichtung der Bilder ersetzen müssen

Had the same problem with a x-pro1! I only got the flash firing without overexposing after cleaning all contacts. Returned to seller to test with a diferent x-pro1 and 3 other ef-x20, but every combination had the same effect: Not a solid contact between ef-x20 and x-pro1. Every once in a while (after switching flash and/or camera to on/off) a photo was overexposed, due to loose contact. Only got reliable contacts with an older ef-20, which uses a rotary knob to fix the flash within the flash shoe. My seller has returned all ef-x20 flashes to Fuji and called the suport, but no one at Fuji seems to know/confirm the problems. VERY strange behaviour for a flash custom build to fit with the new x-pro1! BTW: Firmware is 1.1, camera was reset multiple times ...

Hatte das gleiche Problem mit einem X-pro1!
 Ich habe nur den Blitz auslösen ohne overexposing nach der Reinigung aller Kontakte.
 
 Verkäufer mit einem X-pro1 Diferent und 3 andere Ef-X 20 testen zurückgegeben, aber jede Kombination hatte den gleichen Effekt: keinen festen Kontakt zwischen Ef-X 20 und X-pro1.
 
 Jeder einmal in eine Weile (nach der Umstellung von Blitz und/oder Kamera auf ein-/) war ein Foto, wegen Wackelkontakt überbelichtet.
 
 Nur noch zuverlässige Kontakte mit einem älteren Ef-20, die einen Drehknopf verwendet, um den Blitz innerhalb der Blitzschuh Verlegenheit.
 
 Mein Verkäufer hat alle Ef-X 20 blinkt an Fuji zurückgegeben und der Suport genannt, aber niemand in Fuji scheint zu wissen, und die Probleme bestätigen.
 
 SEHR seltsames Verhalten für eine benutzerdefinierte flash Version mit der neuen X-pro1 passen!
 
 BTW: Firmware 1.1 ist, die Kamera wurde mehrmals zurückgesetzt...
