NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- A 256-foot aluminum yacht commissioned by Steve Jobs before his death is the subject of a pay dispute between the estate of the late Apple Inc. AAPL -1.70% co-founder and French designer Philippe Starck, according to a report by the Associated Press that cited an article in a Dutch newspaper. Starck turned to a debt-collection agency and obtained a summary legal order to prevent the boat from leaving the Netherlands, the report said. Jobs's heirs paid about $7.9 million, but Starck said he's owed about $14.6 million. The total cost of the yacht, named "Venus," is about $171 million, the report said. A spokesman for the Port of Amsterdam told the AP the boat has been in the harbor since Dec. 8.
