I am only too well aware that the very concept of the family has now been pensioned off, but it must be admitted that, in normal circumstances, the best thing for a child is to grow up in an atmosphere of love, with the care of a father and mother, in an environment of guaranteed stability and peace.

Ich bin mir natürlich darüber im klaren, daß das traditionelle Familienbild heute im Wanken begriffen ist, aber es wird sicher jeder zugeben, daß es normalerweise für ein Kind das beste ist, die Zuneigung und Aufmerksamkeit eines Vaters und einer Mutter zu erfahren und in einem Umfeld aufzuwachsen, das von Stabilität und Ausgeglichenheit geprägt ist.
