Suffolk Freemasons assisted by the Grand Charity, have made a donation of £15000 to the St Edmundsbury Cathedral fund which has been used to complete the furnishings of the Chapel of Transfiguration. The PGM, his Deputy and Assistant together with the Provincial Chaplain attended the special Consecration Service held on Friday 5th June at the Cathedral, by His Grace The Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams.

The first afternoon session has no beginner swimmers, so I get to move over to the deep water side and work with a terrific group of twelve year olds on basic lifesaving. Today it's mostly to build up their endurances and the boys want to make a game of it by having the last one in each time getting penalty swats. They all agree that I should be the one to give the swats and I make sure to clear the project with Uncle Rowan before I agree to it. It's strange how it works out though, as every boy comes in last just once.... Go figure.

Die erste Sitzung am Nachmittag hat keine Anfänger-Schwimmer, so bekomme ich bewegen über tiefes Wasser seitlich auf und arbeiten mit einer tollen Gruppe von zwölf jährigen grundlegende lebensrettend. Heute ist es vor allem ihre Ausdauer aufzubauen und die Jungs wollen ein Spiel davon zu machen, indem er das letzte Mal in jeder Zeit immer Strafe Swats. Alle Stimmen zu, dass ich diejenige wäre, die die Swats geben und ich sorgen dafür, das Projekt mit Onkel Rowan zu löschen, bevor ich damit einverstanden.
