Tinaroo Fern A very rare, small, fernlike cycad found only on the cool Atherton Tableland in northeastern Queensland, Australia, at 700 m (2300 ft.) a.s.l. It is similar to both B. serrulata and spectabilis, the other two species in this small genus, with the size of the smaller B. spectabilis and the toothed leaf margins of B. serrulata.
