tenth part

Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

Sage den Leviten und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr den Zehnten nehmt von den Kindern Israel, den ich euch von ihnen gegeben habe zu eurem Erbgut, so sollt ihr davon ein Hebeopfer dem HERRN tun, je den Zehnten von dem Zehnten;

Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

Ein Gomer aber ist der zehnte Teil eines Epha.

And the length according to every part from the west border to the east border. 8 He shall have a portion of the lead in Israel: and the princes shall no more rob my people: but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes: 9 Thus saith the Lord God: Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: cease from iniquity and robberies, and execute judgment and justice, separate your confines from my people, saith the Lord God. 10 You shall have just balances, and a just ephi, and a just bate. 11 The ephi and the bate shall be equal, and of one measure: that the bate may contain the tenth part of a core, and the ephi the tenth part of a core: their weight shall be equal according to the measure of a core. 12 And the sicle hath twenty obols.

Es soll ihm als Grundbesitz in Israel gehören; und meine Fürsten sollen mein Volk nicht mehr unterdrücken, sondern das Land dem Haus Israel nach seinen Stämmen überlassen. 9 So spricht der Herr, HERR: Laßt es euch genug sein, ihr Fürsten Israels! Gewalttat und Mißhandlung beseitigt, und übt Recht und Gerechtigkeit! Hört auf, mein Volk aus seinem Grundbesitz zu vertreiben! spricht der Herr, HERR. 10 Gerechte Waage und gerechtes Efa und gerechtes Bat sollt ihr haben. 11 Das Efa und das Bat sollen gleiches Maß haben, so daß das Bat den zehnten Teil des Homer enthält und das Efa den zehnten [Teil] des Homer; nach dem Homer soll seine Maßbestimmung geschehen. 12 Und der Schekel soll zwanzig Gera [betragen]; zwanzig Schekel, 25 Schekel und fünfzehn Schekel soll bei euch die Mine [betragen].

But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.

Vermag er aber nicht zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben, so bringe er für seine Sünde als ein Opfer ein zehntel Epha Semmelmehl zum Sündopfer. Er soll aber kein Öl darauf legen noch Weihrauch darauf tun; denn es ist ein Sündopfer.

This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

6:13 Das soll das Opfer sein Aarons und seiner Söhne, das sie dem HERRN opfern sollen am Tage der Salbung: ein zehntel Epha Semmelmehl als tägliches Speisopfer, eine Hälfte des Morgens, die andere Hälfte des Abends.

To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

welchem auch Abraham gab den Zehnten aller Güter. Aufs erste wird er verdolmetscht: ein König der Gerechtigkeit; darnach aber ist er auch ein König Salems, das ist: ein König des Friedens;
