Premolar crowns can be reshaped to resemble incisor morphology. We first make a direct composite resin buildup and later replace it with a porcelain laminate veneer (PLV). I have no doubt it will survive playing. It is not flimsy at all, solid like a tank. However, I live in Thailand at the beach (a severe test for any part of a guitar!!!). The chrome plating on all chrome surfaces is far too thin. Within weeks it started to discolor and tarnish, inspite of my efforts to keep it clean and take the sweat off as soon as I finished playing. So now the pickups and tailpiece are less than beautiful. Too bad. So as far as the playing goes, no problem. But chrome is big problem.

Ich habe keinen Zweifel, es wird überleben spielen. Es ist überhaupt nicht dürftig, solide wie ein Panzer. Allerdings, ich lebe in Thailand am Strand (eine harte Probe für jeden Teil einer Gitarre!). Die Verchromung auf allen Chrom-Oberflächen ist viel zu dünn. Innerhalb weniger Wochen fing es an zu verfärben und trüben, trotz meiner Bemühungen sie sauber zu halten und nehmen den Schweiß aus, sobald ich mit dem Spielen fertig. So, jetzt die Pickups und Saitenhalter sind weniger als schön. Schade. Insofern kann das Spielen geht, kein Problem. Aber Chrom ist großes Problem.
