From there we flew to Frankfurt, picked up a motor home from Mannheim, drove for 60 days heading south to Munich, into Austria. We had a wonderful couple of weeks in Switzerland staying with people, relatives of a friend, who showed us the best and took us up into the Alps to the see the cheese maker, how to make hay, edelweiss, the Matterhorn, other mountain tops & lakes. On into France we traveled the Napoleon Road to the south of France & the Riviera. There we went to Monaco, Cairn, & St Tropez. Loved the warn climate, water not as warm as I expected. The parking was hopeless for the motorhome so we left the vehicle in the camping grounds & hired a motor scooter; we were able to get right into the little ancient villages that were built on top of the hills. That was great fun exploring.

Von dort aus flogen wir nach Frankfurt, hob ein Wohnmobil aus Mannheim, fuhr für 60 Tage in Richtung Süden nach München, nach Österreich. Wir hatten eine wunderbare paar Wochen in der Schweiz aufhalten mit Menschen, Angehörige von einem Freund, der uns zeigte die beste und nahm uns bis in die Alpen, um die finden Sie in der Käserei, wie Heu, Edelweiß, das Matterhorn, andere Berggipfel & Seen. Auf nach Frankreich reisten wir die Napoleon Road im Süden von Frankreich und der Riviera. Es gingen wir nach Monaco, Cairn, und St. Tropez. Liebte die warn Klima, Wasser nicht so warm wie ich erwartet hatte. Der Parkplatz war hoffnungslos für das Wohnmobil, so dass wir das Fahrzeug verlassen in den Campingplätzen und heuerte einen Motorroller, wir konnten direkt in die kleinen alten Dörfer, die an der Spitze der Hügel gebaut wurden erhalten. Das war ein großer Spaß zu erkunden.
