The algorithm developed within this thesis, tries to investigate the above mentioned scenarios by using a coupling procedure of a viscous and an inviscid-flow method. Therein, the operating conditions for the propeller, which are computed by the viscous-flow method, are defined by the velocity distribution in front of the propeller and the position of the free surface above the propeller. These data are then used within the inviscid-flow method as inflow condition to compute the forces and moments generated by the propeller.

Der Algorithmus, der im Rahmen dieser Arbeit versucht, die oben genannten Szenarien untersuchen mit eine Kupplung-Prozedur eine zähflüssige und eine reibungsfreie-Flow-Methode. Darin werden die Betriebsbedingungen für die Propeller, die von der Viskose-Flow-Methode berechnet werden sollen, durch die Geschwindigkeitsverteilung vor der Propeller und die Position der freien Fläche oberhalb der Propeller definiert. Diese Daten werden dann innerhalb der reibungsfreie-Flow-Methode als Zufluss Bedingung verwendet, zur Berechnung von Kräften und Momenten, die von der Propeller erzeugt.
