AUX Device(s) are additional DG-700s or APT DABs that can be used exclusively to measure zonal pressures during the Blower Door test. The AUX COM Port(s) are the communication ports on your computer that will be used to communicate with the AUX Device(s). AUX Devices can only be used with the Zonal Pressures feature of TECTITE Express.

If a communication link has been established with the PRIMARY Device, and the Zonal Pressures feature has been turned on, TECTITE Express first checks to see if the PRIMARY Device has sufficient pressure channels to measure the active zone pressure channels. For example, if your PRIMARY Device is an APT DAB with 6 installed pressure channels, you would be able to measure up to 4 zone pressures without needing an AUX Device (the first two channels on the PRIMARY Device are always used to measure building pressure and Blower Door fan flow). On the other hand, if your PRIMARY Device is a DG-700 gauge, then you will need to use two AUX DG-700 to measure 4 zone pressures.
