Bei Fischen wird Gonazon dazu verwendet, bei weiblichen Lachsartigen wie Atlantiklachs, Regebogenforelle, Bachforelle und Seesaibling zur Produktion von Fischeiern im Augenstadium und Fischbrut die Ovulation (die Eireifung) einzuleiten und zu synchronisieren.

In fish, Gonazon is used to induce and synchronise ovulation (egg production) in female salmonids such as Atlantic salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout and Arctic charr for the production of eyed-eggs and fry.

Die wichtigste Zutat für Lumpiang  togue ist mongo sprießen, das Gemüse kann hier auch als Fischbrut, und es wird allgemein als Lumpiang prito (gebratene Gemüserolle).
