Wenn wir die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika für Fehlverhalten im Stahlsektor bestrafen können, warum sind wir dann in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo machtlos, wo Millionen von Menschen aus Gewinnsucht ausgebeutet und ermordet wurden?

If we can penalise the United States for doing something wrong with its steel, why is it that we are not able to do something in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where millions of people have been exploited and killed for commercial gain?

Ich antworte ebenso rhetorisch, daß dahinter eine krankhafte Gewinnsucht steht.

I will provide an answer to my own question: an insatiable thirst for profit.
