Ein Flugzeug ist am Dienstagabend bei Moroni, der Hauptstadt der Komoren, ins Meer abgestürzt – wie durch ein Wunder überlebten alle 29 Insassen. Das Flugzeug war zu einer benachbarten Insel unterwegs, verlor jedoch viel Kerosin. Ein Insasse des Flugzeuges sagte gegenüber «Reuters»: «Das Kerosin lief aus dem Flugzeug wie aus einem offenen Wasserhahn.» Er informierte den Piloten. Dieser reagierte und drehte um, um zum Flughafen Moroni zurückzukehren. Soweit kam es aber nicht: Die Maschine stürzte 200 Meter vom Flughafen entfernt ab. Die 25 Passagiere und 4 Crew-Mitglieder überlebten alle, die meisten sogar unverletzt. Nur der Pilot trug eine Kopfverletzung davon. Fischer retteten die Passagiere auf kleinen Booten aus dem Ozean.

A plane crashed on Tuesday evening in Moroni, the capital of the Comoros, in the sea - as if by a miracle all 29 occupants survived.
 
 The plane was en route to a neighbouring island, lost but much kerosene. A passenger of the aircraft told «Reuters»: «The kerosene ran out of air as from a faucet open.» He informed the pilot.
 
 This responded and turned around to return to the airport of Moroni. As far as it did not but: the machine away crashed 200 meters from the airport.
 
 The 25 passengers and 4 crew members survived all the most even uninjured. Only the pilot was a head injury. Fishermen rescued the passengers on small boats from the ocean.
