Änderungen der Staatsverträge sind ein geringeres Problem.

Ebenso ist die Zustimmung des Bundesrates für derartige Staatsverträge in Anwesenheit von mindestens der Hälfte der Mitglieder und einer Mehrheit von zwei Drittel der abgegebenen Stimmen erforderlich. Es bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass es im Verlauf eines derart komplexen legistischen Prozesses nicht zu Katastrophen kommt, die rasches Handeln erfordern.

As well, the consent of the Bundesrat for such treaties in the presence of at least half of the members and a majority of two-thirds of the votes is required. It can only hope that is not in a such a complex legal process to disasters, that require rapid action.
