1. Die Scheuchvorrichtung wird am Heck etwa 4,5 m ueber der Wasserlinie befestigt und zwar so , dass sie sich unmittelbar ueber dem Punkt befindet , an dem die Koeder die Wasseroberflaeche beruehren .

.3 Die Bedienungseinrichtungen aller Seeventile , der Auslassventile unterhalb der Wasserlinie oder der Bilgenlenzsysteme sind so anzuordnen , dass im Fall eines Wassereinbruchs in dem entsprechenden Raum noch genuegend Zeit fuer ihre Betaetigung zur Verfuegung steht , wobei die zum Erreichen und Betaetigen solcher Bedienungseinrichtungen erforderliche Zeit zu beruecksichtigen ist . Falls das Niveau , bis zu dem der Raum bei voller Beladung des Schiffes ueberflutet werden koennte , dies erfordert , sind Vorkehrungen zu treffen , um die Bedienungseinrichtungen von einer Position ueber diesem Niveau aus bedienen zu koennen .

Zum Ein- und Austritt von Wasser dienende Aussenbord-Durchbrueche , die unterhalb der Wasserlinie entsprechend der vom Hersteller empfohlenen Hoechstlast gemaess Nummer 3.6 liegen , sind mit leicht zugaenglichen Verschluessen zu versehen .
