Und wird alles Heer des Himmels verfaulen, und der Himmel wird zusammengerollt werden wie ein Buch, und all sein Heer wird verwelken, wie ein Blatt verwelkt am Weinstock und wie ein dürres Blatt am Feigenbaum.

And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Darum, wie des Feuers Flamme Stroh verzehrt und die Lohe Stoppeln hinnimmt, also wird ihre Wurzel verfaulen und ihre Blüte auffliegen wie Staub. Denn sie verachten das Gesetz des HERRN Zebaoth und lästern die Rede des Heiligen in Israel.

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
