Filtrieren eines durch eine Enzymbehandlung eines vollständigen Getreidemehls erhaltenen hydrolysierten Produkts, um eine klare Phase und eine trübe Phase zu erhalten; Filtrieren durch Waschen der trüben Phase in einem horizontalen Bandfilter unter Vakuum, wodurch ein Filtrationskuchen und ein Filtrat erhalten werden; weiteres mechanisches Auspressen des Filtrationskuchens zur Bildung eines dehydrierten Kuchens und eines Filtrats; Hinführen der in den Filtrationsphasen erhaltenen trüben Filtrate zum stationären Sieb zur Bildung eines klaren Filtrats; enzymatische Verzuckerungsbehandlung des klaren Filtrats und des klaren hydrolysierten Produkts zur Bildung einer Lösung fermentierbarer Zucker; Fermentieren der Zuckerlösung in einer Reihe von Atmosphärenfermentationseinheiten mit einem äußeren Kühlungs- und Recyclingsystem; Zentrifugieren des aus der Fermentation erhaltenen Weins, Abtrennen der Mikroorganismen und ihre Weiterleitung zur ersten Fermentationseinheit nach der Ansäuerung zur Bildung einer klaren alkoholischen Lösung, die das in der Destillationseinheit zu behandelnde Endprodukt darstellt, wobei das zum Sieben verwendete Sieb Zwischenräume mit Stäben von etwa 150 bis 300 µm aufweist.
